The Navigation Added cautionary note on the use of the celestial navigation spreadsheet.  I noticed that I was getting a number of hits on this page from searches for navigational software.  The spreadsheet has not been thoroughly tested.  In fact the moon and star sight calculations have hardly been tested at all.  I will likely do some more work on the spreadsheet before I head off-shore again.
