Bow Running Light & Deck Leak |
I replaced the original in-hull
bow running lights with an Aqua Signal Bi-Color running light on the bow
pulpit rail. I discovered that the bow pulpit stanchions were bent and
poorly sealed. I re-bedded all of the stanchions in hope I have
finally fixed an annoying leak in one of the forward cabin lockers. |

The original West Marine battery
combiner failed before or after my departure from Cascais to Gibraltar.
I have replaced that unit with a heavier duty one from Blues Seas, but I
will also install a switch to allow me to turn it off and hopefully prevent
another failure. |

value this capability is, but at least I verified that I can do it with SOB

Not all standard computer cables
are the same. I learned this when connecting a serial cable to the
open port on the Brookhouse NMEA multiplexer so that I could integrate data
from my hand held Garmin GPS with the rest of the NMEA data. |

upgrade to Fugawi 4.0 after downloading the latest update to the program.
The AIS implementation is still brain dead, but they have done a decent job
with GRIBs. |
