I recently purchased a new NMEA Multiplexer from Brookhouse
that supports multiple 38400 inputs (e.g., AIS and C120) and still provides
a 4800B NMEA output. This page documents my experience with this new
Mux and how I have configured it in my NMEA network. |

that appears to have addressed most of the shortcomings in their AIS
