After
a period back home to remove the wear & tear WHOOSH had seen in
8 years of cruising, we have begun to plan for the Pacific.
After cruising from Norway to Greece in Europe, plus two
Transatlantic and several Caribbean runs, one might assume
WHOOSH wouldn't need much before leaving for the Pacific. The
reality is that we feel it's necessary to revisit each of the
systems decisions we previously made, consider if they will suit
this new cruising venue, and also ask what's needed that WHOOSH
lacks. And even after 37 countries & island nations, there are
unique regs, island customs, and routing & weather issues that
remain to be discovered. Offering that information is the point
of this section.
