| The Yeocomico River |
 The Yeocomico is just up river from the
Coan, and became our favorite destination on the lower Potomac after the left
fork of the Coan River silted in. There are three major branches on the
Yeocomico, all with suitable anchorages and facilities. We most commonly
anchor in Palmer Cove on the south branch, but the middle and northern branches
are both viable alternatives. |
